According to Ingenious Beating monitoring, Anthropic is considering a new round of financing with a valuation of over $900 billion. If successful, Anthropic will surpass OpenAI, which raised $85.2 billion in March, becoming the world's highest-valued AI startup.

Multiple sources familiar with the matter have stated that several investors have made offers to Anthropic that exceed twice its current valuation. The negotiations are still in a very early stage, and Anthropic has not accepted any offers yet. Previously, Anthropic has rejected investment proposals at a valuation of $800 billion and above.

Anthropic is currently valued at $350 billion, anchored by significant investments from Google and Amazon. Google has recently committed to invest $10 billion at this valuation, with an additional $30 billion if Anthropic achieves specific performance targets; Amazon has invested $5 billion at the same valuation, with plans to add $20 billion later. It is unclear whether these two will participate in the new round of financing. Anthropic is also considering an IPO as early as October.
