According to Dynamic Beating monitoring, Anthropic has released a batch of Creative Tools Connectors, allowing Claude to directly interact with professional software used by designers and musicians in their daily work. The first set of 8 connectors cover four areas: 3D modeling, visual design, music production, and live performance. Partners include Blender, Adobe, Autodesk, Ableton, Splice, Affinity by Canva, Resolume, and SketchUp.
Each connector has unique capabilities. The Adobe Connector integrates with over 50 tools in the Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Premiere, and Express; the Autodesk Fusion allows for creating and modifying 3D models using natural language; the Blender Connector, developed by the Blender team, is based on the MCP protocol and can be used with other major models; the Ableton Connector provides access to the official documentation of Live and Push; Splice enables musicians to directly search for royalty-free sample libraries within Claude's interface; the Resolume Connector allows real-time control of VJ performance visuals using natural language.
Anthropic has also joined the Blender Development Fund as a Corporate Patron, committing to a minimum annual contribution of €240,000 (approximately $281,000), joining Netflix, Epic, and Wacom as sponsors. Furthermore, Anthropic has partnered with the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), the Rigglin School of Art and Design, and Goldsmiths, University of London to launch AI creative courses.
