BlockBeats News, April 28th: A deputy commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy stated that Iran has achieved absolute control over the Strait of Hormuz and is requesting passage fees from passing ships. He emphasized that the territorial sovereignty of the Strait of Hormuz is inviolable, and foreign vessels must abide by the rules set by Iran when passing through the waterway, including using the Persian language for communication.
He said, "Without the orders of the Supreme Leader and the will of the people, Iran will never allow even a drop of oil to flow out of the strait." He also stated that the Iranian military is currently "on alert" and in a highly vigilant state. He claimed that the dominance of the U.S. military in the Persian Gulf has come to an end, and reiterated that Iran is capable of dealing with any form of maritime blockade. (CCTV News)
