Tencent Cloud's CodeBuddy Enterprise Edition Raises Price by 154%, the Third Price Hike This Year

According to Dynamic Insight monitoring, Tencent Cloud announced that its AI coding assistant CodeBuddy and AI office intelligent agent WorkBuddy will raise prices starting from May 15. The Enterprise Flagship Edition (to be renamed as "SaaS Enterprise Edition") will increase from ¥78/user/month to ¥198/user/month, a roughly 154% increase; the Enterprise Exclusive Edition (to be renamed as "Private Cloud Enterprise Edition") will increase from ¥158/user/month to ¥316/user/month, a 100% increase. The pricing of additional usage packages will also increase by approximately 25%.

The price increase comes with equity adjustments: Enterprise users can now use both CodeBuddy and WorkBuddy with one account, no longer requiring separate subscriptions; a new CloudAgent cloud intelligent agent platform has been added, allowing enterprises to build their own agents and share them with team members in one click, with each person receiving an independent sandbox instance; enterprise admins can configure available model ranges per member. Customers purchasing the Enterprise Flagship Edition from May 15 to August 14 will receive an additional 2000 Credits per person in the first month.

This marks Tencent Cloud's third price hike this year. On March 11, Tencent Cloud significantly adjusted the pricing of its Hybrid series models, with the Hybrid HY2.0 Instruct input price soaring over 400%, and several third-party models transitioning from free public testing to a paid model. On April 9, Tencent Cloud once again announced a 5% across-the-board list price increase for AI computing power, container services, and Elastic MapReduce-related products.
