Trump to Meet National Security Team to Review Next Steps on Iran

BlockBeats News, April 27th. According to sources, U.S. President Donald Trump will meet with senior national security officials today to review the progress of the negotiations with Iran, which have reached a stalemate. Prior to this meeting, he had decided to cancel the planned trip of envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to Pakistan for further talks.

Officials will assess the next steps, including the possibility of resuming previously suspended U.S. bombing raids after the recent extension of the ceasefire agreement. Trump stated that the reason for pausing diplomatic efforts was Iran's failure to present a satisfactory proposal and the uncertainty surrounding Tehran's leadership and negotiating position.
