According to Perceive Beating monitoring, Ant inclusionAI recently released Ling-2.6-1T, which is the new trillion-parameter flagship directive model in the Ling series, focusing not on deep thinking reasoning, but on precise task execution using a "Fast-Thinking" mechanism. The company stated that it has significantly improved in terms of capability compared to Ling-1T, with overall intelligence approaching GPT-5.4 in non-reasoning mode, but with fewer output tokens, making token efficiency a core metric.
This means it is targeting the agent era's execution-type tasks: code modifications, tool invocations, complex instruction following, and high-frequency production environment invocations. The OpenRouter page indicates that Ling-2.6-1T currently provides a free API entry, supporting 262.1k token context and a maximum output of 32.8k tokens.
The official announcement mentions that Ling-2.6-1T will soon be open-sourced.
