BlockBeats News, April 25, X Platform (formerly Twitter)’s independent messaging app XChat has officially launched on the App Store, and users can now download, install, and start using it. XChat is currently available on iOS first, with the Android version coming soon.
Reportedly, XChat supports users to log in directly with their X account, without the need for a phone number or email. It uses end-to-end encryption, where messages are only visible to the two parties, and the platform cannot read them. It also supports self-destructing messages and file transfers of any type.
Furthermore, XChat has deeply integrated xAI's Grok smart assistant, allowing users to directly summon Grok within the chat interface to ask questions, generate images, and summarize content without switching apps.
