Report: 360 AI Vulnerability Agent Has Discovered Nearly a Thousand Unknown Vulnerabilities, Competing with Mythos

According to Dongcha Beating monitoring, Bloomberg cited a report from Eugenio Benincasa, Senior Researcher at the ETH Zurich Security Research Center, stating that Chinese cybersecurity company 360 Digital Security Group has recently announced the development of an AI-driven "Vulnerability Discovery Agent," which has discovered nearly 1000 previously unknown software vulnerabilities, involving products such as Microsoft Office and the open-source AI agent framework OpenClaw.

The report, published by Natto Thoughts, a research group focused on Chinese cybersecurity, reviewed a series of recent announcements by 360 in Chinese. 360 stated that AI has "evolved from an auxiliary tool to the core engine of vulnerability discovery," and earlier this year announced the development of an AI tool to accelerate the creation of exploit chains. An exploit chain is a prerequisite for compromising a target computer.

Benincasa believes that 360 is positioning itself as a direct competitor to Anthropic Mythos.
