US Treasury Secretary: Expects Iran Conflict to End, Natural Gas Prices to Fall

BlockBeats News, April 22 - U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen stated that she believes the Iran conflict will come to an end, leading to a drop in natural gas prices. Gasoline prices may fall below pre-Iran war levels. President Trump has demonstrated his skill in reducing energy costs.

The claim that Iran will benefit by $14 billion from sanctions relief is "pure fantasy." The U.S. Treasury Department stated that by lifting sanctions (on Iran), over 250 million barrels of seaborne oil would be released. Without this action, prices would be higher. (Kinling)
