An BTC Short Whale just got liquidated during a recent rally, with a liquidation size of $3.11 million

BlockBeats News, April 22, according to Hyperinsight monitoring, as the BTC price broke through $78,000, a whale with address starting with 0x2fca had its short position liquidated in two consecutive rounds, with a total of 40 BTC liquidated, approximately $3.11 million. This is the eighth liquidation of this address in the past week.

After the liquidation, the remaining funds of about $30,000 in the account were used to open another BTC short position with 40x leverage, with the current position size of only $310,000 and a liquidation price set at $79,085.
