Iran: Normalizing Hormuz Navigation Currently Not Feasible

BlockBeats News, April 20th - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Baghaei stated that the root cause of the Hormuz Crisis is the military aggression of the United States and Israel, and they should directly bear the consequences of the current situation.

Baghaei mentioned that considering the US's repeated violations of ceasefire agreements and its threats to Iranian ports and ships, the current situation is still considered a "state of war." Therefore, it is impossible to unilaterally normalize navigation. In particular, existing security concerns have led to insurance companies and cargo owners abandoning passage through the area.

Iran has put forward the development of a new security agreement on the agenda, aiming to ensure long-term security in the future and prevent aggressive behaviors from happening again. (FXStreet)
