Multiple Signs Point to Imminent US-Iran Next Round of Talks, Insiders Say High Likelihood Before Friday

BlockBeats News, April 19, according to Al Jazeera, two Pakistani security officials stated that negotiations between the US and Iran are likely to take place before Friday.

The officials based their assessment on several factors: Two US heavy transport planes (C-17 Globemaster) have landed at the Nur Khan Air Base in Rawalpindi. The base is located near the Pakistani capital, Islamabad. The road from the airport to the Red Zone in Islamabad has been temporarily closed, indicating an escalation in security measures. The Serena Hotel and Marriott Hotel in Islamabad are evacuating guests and not accepting new bookings before Friday. The Serena Hotel was the venue for the first US-Iran talks on April 11.

According to PolyBeats monitoring, on the prediction market Polymarket, the probability of the "US-Iran next diplomatic meeting" before the 22nd (next Wednesday) is 52%, and the probability before the 30th is as high as 73%.
