BlockBeats News, April 18th - A spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Defense said that the opening of the Strait of Hormuz would only happen under ceasefire conditions and with other conditions. Rear Admiral Reza Tara-Neck stated, "Warships and vessels linked to hostile forces have no right to pass through the Strait of Hormuz."
The spokesperson also mentioned that the current status of the Strait of Hormuz is "temporary," and if the situation in Lebanon changes, the waterway could be closed again. (Al Jazeera)
