BlockBeats News, April 17th, after Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi announced the full opening of the Strait of Hormuz, Donald Trump posted 11 consecutive tweets, closely commenting on the situation.
Trump stated that the Strait of Hormuz has resumed full passage, Iran is clearing mines with U.S. assistance, and Iran "will no longer close the strait or use it as a weapon against the world." However, he emphasized that the maritime blockade on Iran will continue until the relevant agreements are "fully reached."
He also claimed that the U.S. has "destroyed Iran's nuclear program," will obtain related nuclear materials, and thanked Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar for their support.
In his statement, Trump once again criticized NATO, calling it "calling only afterwards, of no use at a critical moment," and criticized media such as The New York Times and CNN for not giving positive reviews of his actions.
Furthermore, Trump also commented on the situation in Lebanon, stating that he will restrict Israeli actions and handle issues related to Hezbollah separately from the U.S.
