BlockBeats News, April 17th. U.S. President Trump announced on social media that "the United States will receive all nuclear 'dust' (i.e., nuclear material) created by our great B-2 bombers—no money will be involved in any form or fashion. This transaction is also unrelated to Lebanon, but the U.S. will work separately with Lebanon to handle the Hezbollah situation. Israel will no longer bomb Lebanon as they have been prohibited from doing so by the U.S."
Trump used the term "nuclear dust" to refer to highly enriched uranium. Trump's statement praised the U.S. for destroying Iran's nuclear program through its powerful military (B-2 bombers). It is believed that after the U.S. military struck the Fordow and Natanz nuclear facilities last June, this highly enriched uranium was deeply buried underground.
This batch of nuclear materials has been under Iran's control and has always been a key source of tension between the Trump administration and Tehran. (FX Street)
