Vance Reveals Negotiation Details: Stalemate Due to Iran's Lack of Authorization

BlockBeats News, April 14th, according to Fox News, U.S. Vice President Pence stated that the U.S. delegation withdrew from the negotiations after determining that the Iranian negotiators lacked the authority to reach a final agreement, adding that any progress now depends on approval from the Tehran leadership.

He said: "I think we do understand some of the negotiating tactics of the Iranians, and that's ultimately why we left Pakistan, because I think we found that the team that was there at the time was not able to come to an agreement, they had to go back to Tehran, either to get approval from the supreme leader or to get approval from others to accept the conditions that we had set forth."

Pence stressed that as long as key conditions are met, Trump remains open to normalizing relations with Iran. However, he stated that for Iran to become a normal country economically, it must be a normal country that does not pursue nuclear weapons and does not engage in "terrorism."
