StarkWare underwent a workforce reduction and restructured into two business units to sprint towards revenue growth targets

BlockBeats News, April 13th, according to The Block, StarkWare is laying off employees and reorganizing into two business units. The zero-knowledge Rollup development company is transitioning from a pure infrastructure provider to starting to build its own products to generate 'meaningful revenue'.

This adjustment was announced by co-founder and CEO Eli Ben-Sasson at an all-hands meeting on Monday. He did not disclose the specific number of layoffs or timeline but indicated that the streamlining was necessary to return to a 'startup mode' mindset and accelerate product-market fit.

He also mentioned that affected employees would receive an email shortly after the meeting and would be invited to have one-on-one discussions with their direct managers. Additionally, in many jurisdictions, StarkWare will provide departure packages beyond legal and contractual requirements.
