U.S. Senior Official: No Threat Received from Iran to Ships

BlockBeats News, April 11th, according to AXIOS, a senior US official stated that there had been no threat of an Iranian attack on ships.

Earlier, Iranian authorities claimed to have monitored a US destroyer heading from the UAE's Fujairah port to the Strait of Hormuz. After closely monitoring its movements, the Iranian armed forces immediately informed the Iranian delegation negotiating in Pakistan. The delegation promptly conveyed Iran's position to the US through Pakistani intermediaries and issued a clear warning to the destroyer: if it continued to approach the Strait of Hormuz, it would be targeted within 30 minutes, and the negotiations would also be affected. In response to Iran's firm military action and the timely warning from the negotiation team, the US eventually ordered the destroyer to stop its advance and turn back.
