Iran's Speaker of Parliament to Meet with Pakistan's PM, Discuss Iran-US Negotiation Format

BlockBeats News, April 11th, according to Iran's Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting on the 11th, Iranian Islamic Parliament Speaker Qalibaf will hold talks with Pakistani Prime Minister Shabaz on the same day to agree on the time and format of Iran's negotiations with the United States.

According to the Tasnim News Agency, Iran will raise the issue of the US violating its commitments to the Pakistani Prime Minister during the talks. The prerequisites for starting negotiations include unfreezing Iranian assets and a ceasefire in Lebanon. The US has informed Pakistan that it agrees to these prerequisites and some other conditions for starting negotiations.

The Iranian delegation plans to assess the US position and its commitment implementation during the talks, and then decide whether to negotiate with the US. The Tasnim News Agency said in another report that if Iran and the US can hold talks, the current plan is for the negotiations to start later on the 11th and may only last for a day. (Forexlive)
