BlockBeats News, April 10, according to Arab media Asharq News, negotiations between Lebanon and Israel will precede negotiations between Iran and the United States. A preparatory conference call was held today with participants including Israeli Ambassador to Washington Na'ah al-Hamad Muawad, Israeli Ambassador to Washington Yair Lapid, US Ambassador to Lebanon Michele Issa, and Mike Needham, Director of Policy Planning at the US State Department. The Lebanon-Israel face-to-face meeting is scheduled for Tuesday and will be hosted by Lebanese Ambassador Hamad Muwad. The Lebanon talks are now under the responsibility of US Secretary of State Rubio, completely separate from the Iran talks and Islamabad talks. (Oriental Fortune)
