Iran's Supreme Leader: Not Seeking War But Will Not Surrender Rights, Emphasizes Advancing Hormuz Strait ‘New Phase’ Management

BlockBeats News, April 10th. On the evening of April 9th local time, the Iranian state TV read out a statement from the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, emphasizing that Iran is not seeking war but will not give up its rights. Ayatollah's latest statement was released on the 40th day commemoration of his father, the late Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

The statement reviewed the life of Ali Khamenei, emphasizing that Iran's victory in the war relied on the unity of the government, the army, and the people. The statement stated that Iran will seek war reparations, advance the management of the Strait of Hormuz to "a new stage," and consider the "Axis of Resistance" as a unified whole.

The statement also called on Iran's Gulf neighbors on the southern coast of the Persian Gulf (Gulf Arab countries) to stand on the "right side," stating that Iran will show goodwill to these countries, provided that they stay away from "arrogant hegemonists."
