BlockBeats News, April 9th: Game giant Valve was revealed to be developing an internal artificial intelligence tool named "SteamGPT," mainly used to improve customer service efficiency and internal task management capabilities.
According to the exposed backend code information, this system includes two major modules, "SteamGPT" and "SteamGPTSummary," which can automatically retrieve and summarize player account information (such as registration duration, credit score, etc.), assist customer service in quickly assessing user situations and handling issues. At the same time, this tool can also intelligently summarize support requests and internal tasks to optimize team workflow.
Currently, SteamGPT is positioned as an internal productivity tool and has not been opened to users. Valve is more inclined to utilize AI's retrieval and summarization capabilities to improve operational efficiency, rather than directly introducing conversation AI oriented toward players.
