Polygon Mainnet will undergo the Giugliano upgrade on April 8th, and nodes need to upgrade as soon as possible

BlockBeats News, April 7th, according to an official announcement from the Polygon Foundation, the Giugliano hard fork upgrade will take place around 22:00 (Beijing time) on April 8th at Polygon mainnet block height 85,268,500.


This upgrade will bring the following improvements:


Allowing producers to pre-announce blocks for faster finality;

Adding fee parameters directly to the block header;

Introducing new RPC interfaces to support fee data.


The official reminder states that all node operators must upgrade Bor to version 2.7.0 or Erigon to version 3.5.0 to ensure normal operation.
