White House Denies Rumors of Trump Being Seriously Ill and Hospitalized

BlockBeats News, April 5th: On April 4th local time, a news about Trump being seriously ill and hospitalized quickly set off a storm on the U.S. internet. In response, White House Communications Director Steven Cheung posted a clarification: Over this Easter weekend, President Trump has been working tirelessly in the White House and Oval Office. After President Trump's social media account posted about the "missing pilot being rescued," Steven Cheung posted again stating: "Let those nauseating journalists who question the president's whereabouts take a look, this is what President Trump is doing."

The White House also responded to online speculation through its official account: "When President Trump goes 12 hours without accepting media interviews, those mentally deranged liberal individuals start concocting ridiculous conspiracy theories. (Yet when Biden goes days on end without accepting media interviews, they say nothing.) Don't worry! President Trump has never actually stopped working." The White House also angrily denounced the accounts spreading rumors about Trump being seriously ill and hospitalized as complete idiots.

Reportedly, on April 4th local time, Trump's schedule suddenly only showed "executive time," and in the morning, the White House announced a media "lid," indicating that the president would not make any more public appearances that day. Social media users interpreted "lid," Trump's absence from public view, and subsequent lack of public activities as potential evidence that he had been sent to Walter Reed Hospital for treatment.
