Iran Claims to Shoot Down Enemy MQ-1 Drone as Military Says Strikes Hit Key Tehran Sites

BlockBeats News, April 4th: The Public Relations Department of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Iran announced on April 4th local time that the IRGC had shot down an enemy MQ-1 drone over Isfahan Province.


On the same day, the Israeli Defense Forces issued a statement stating that the Israeli Air Force had carried out airstrikes on multiple targets in Iran's capital, Tehran, on the 3rd. The statement said that this strike targeted several key Iranian infrastructure sites, including an IRGC air defense facility where missiles used to target airborne objects were stored. The statement also mentioned a military base responsible for protecting Iran's weapons development facilities that was struck. Additionally, a location storing ballistic missiles in Iran, along with several weapons production and research facilities, were targeted. Iran has not responded to these actions.
