BlockBeats News, April 2nd: This morning, the Solana ecosystem DeFi protocol Drift Protocol was attacked. Preliminary estimates indicate that approximately $220 million to $270 million worth of assets were suspiciously transferred to the address "HkGz4K." Subsequently, some of the assets were bridged to the Ethereum network to purchase ETH. As of now, 19,913 ETH has been purchased, amounting to $42.6 million. The attacker also converted some of the stolen SOL to ETH on Hyperliqud and transferred some stolen SOL to Binance.
Current on-chain data shows that Drift Protocol's TVL has plummeted to $255 million, a significant drop from the pre-hacked TVL of $534 million.
