Japanese and South Korean Stock Markets Sharply Higher at Open, Gold Breaks $4700

According to Bitget market data, the South Korean KOSPI Index opened up 267.92 points on April 1st (Wednesday), a 5.3% increase, to 5320.38 points. The Nikkei 225 Index opened up 883.17 points on April 1st (Wednesday), a 1.73% increase, to 51946.89 points.


Spot Gold rose to $4700 per ounce early Wednesday, up 0.7% intraday, reaching this threshold for the first time in nearly two weeks.
