The number of ships navigating the Hormuz Strait is gradually increasing, with Iran's blockade tactics evolving into an economic warfare tool

BlockBeats News, April 1st, the number of ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz and their emitted signal strength is slowly increasing, despite Iran still maintaining a effective blockade on most unpermitted commercial vessels.

According to Bloomberg compilation tracking data, as of Monday, the average weekly transit of vessels in both directions has risen to seven, up from five last week. Although still far from normal traffic levels, this increase indicates that a small selective fleet (mainly from non-hostile Asian countries) is still continuing to pass through the port. By allowing friendly vessels to pass while restricting Western vessels, Iran's blockade has evolved into a powerful economic warfare tool. (FX168)
