Update-induced Crash: Google's Antigravity flagship model experiences capacity crisis, facing continuous complaints since March

According to 1M AI News monitoring, following a recent update to Google's AI programming tool Antigravity, users are reporting widespread "high traffic" capacity errors, preventing completion of complex tasks. Both the Reddit r/google_antigravity community and the Google AI developer forum have seen a surge in similar complaints, impacting paid subscription users as well.

This continues Antigravity's ongoing capacity woes since March. Version 1.20.5 (March 9) addressed a token metering bug, but concurrently introduced an AI Credits billing system leading to abnormal credit consumption, with some users experiencing up to a 7-day quota lockout.

In mid-March, Google shifted Antigravity from free to credit-based payment, further fueling discontent within the developer community. Current community-suggested interim solutions include disabling AI Credits in settings, rolling back to v1.19.6, among others.
