BlockBeats News, March 30th. According to the Financial Times, despite U.S. President Trump's threat to seize Iran's oil production rights, he also emphasized that indirect negotiations with Iran through a Pakistani "envoy" are progressing smoothly. When asked whether a ceasefire agreement could be reached in the next few days and the Strait of Hormuz reopened, Trump refused to provide specific details.
He said, "We still have about 3,000 targets yet to be bombed—currently, 13,000 targets have been bombed—and there are thousands more targets to be carried out. An agreement is expected to be reached soon."
Last week, Trump said that Iran had allowed 10 oil tankers flying the Pakistani flag to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, calling it "a gift to the White House." He stated that this number has now increased to 20 tankers, with the first batch already underway, "steaming right through the middle of the strait." He also claimed that Iranian Parliament Speaker Kalibaf personally authorized these tankers' passage.
