According to 1M AI News monitoring, the Kuaishou StreamLake platform has released its flagship AI coding model, KAT-Coder-Pro V2, with simultaneous upgrades in Agentic Coding and Front-end Aesthetics Generation.
For Agentic Coding, V2 is compatible with over 10 mainstream AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cline, Kilo, and OpenCode, and has undergone specialized training and end-to-end optimization for the OpenClaw framework, covering scaffold protocol understanding, toolchain invocation, and long-chain execution stability.
The focus of this upgrade is Front-end Aesthetics Generation. The Kuaishou team has concurrently introduced its self-developed "KAT Aesthetics Benchmark," which employs professional designer blind testing, sets 10 independent evaluation dimensions, and is specifically tailored for the "reference-free image creation" scenario. Under this benchmark, V2 scored 57.6 in the PPT scenario, leading competitors by 14 to 22 points, with a color scheme score of 78; the Landing Page scenario scored 59.8, ranking first. Compared to the previous baseline, the average score for PPT increased by 103%, Landing Page increased by 42%, and individual elements increased by 300%.
In terms of model specifications, V2 has a context length of 256K, with the maximum output increased from 32K in V1 to 80K, supporting streaming output, context caching, MCP, and Function Call. The API pricing is 2.1 yuan per million tokens for input, 8.4 yuan per million tokens for output, free cache writes, and 0.42 yuan per million tokens for cache reads. Users can subscribe to and use it through the StreamLake platform API or Coding Plan.
