BlockBeats News, March 26th, Resolv Labs issued a statement stating, "As mitigation measures progress, we would like to provide clarification on an important issue: We strongly recommend not to trade or acquire USR at this time. On-chain data shows that illegally minted USR has been mixed with pre-attack USR in multiple wallets and is continuously circulating in the secondary market.
The illegally generated USR by the attacker has never had any collateral support and does not have redemption rights. Any transactions conducted at this time carry the risk of involving illegal tokens and also increase the complexity of the asset recovery process.
We are currently in the early stages of evaluating a recovery plan for affected holders and cannot provide any guarantees, with any potential remediation measures likely to be constrained by ongoing transaction activities. We are working closely with the affected protocol to develop a solution and will share specific details when ready."
