Mortgage lender Better Home & Finance and U.S. cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase Global are set to roll out a new home loan product on Thursday that will allow homebuyers to pledge cryptocurrency as collateral when applying for a mortgage, eliminating the need to sell the cryptocurrency to raise cash for a down payment, with Fannie Mae backing the mortgage.
