On-chain BTC Whale Longs Liquidated Multiple Times, Totaling Over $14 Million in a Single Day

According to Hyperinsight monitoring, due to a short-term dip in the BTC price, the BTC long position held by a whale with the address starting with 0x965 was liquidated multiple times when the price dropped to around $69,500, with a total of 125 BTC liquidated, equivalent to about $8.69 million. The largest single liquidation was $6.95 million, making it the second-largest liquidation in a single transaction across the entire network.

In fact, this address had been liquidated twice in ETH long positions just 3 hours earlier, with a total of 2647 ETH liquidated, approximately $5.59 million. Both positions were completely liquidated, resulting in a total loss of about $270,000. The total liquidation amount from these two rounds exceeded $14.2 million. The address currently still holds HYPE long positions worth $4.64 million, with a liquidation price of $38.1.
