A new address entered a $48,000 bet that Trump will not visit China before May.

According to PolyBeats monitoring, in the prediction market Polymarket, a new address has invested $48k in the "Will Trump visit China before May" market, buying "No," with the current probability of "No" at 62%.

Trump's originally scheduled Beijing trip from 3.31 to 4.2 has been postponed. Trump himself mentioned that his new Asia trip will be approximately five to six weeks later, which if calculated precisely would fall around 4.21 to 4.28, highly overlapping with the unavailable booking dates of the Beijing Grand Hotel from 4.22 to 4.26.

However, as of now, the White House has stated that both sides are still negotiating a new date; the Chinese Embassy in the U.S. maintains that they "will continue to communicate on Trump's China visit."
