Iranian exchange platform Wallex's address subject to dual freeze by Circle and Tether, associated assets approximately $2.49 million

BlockBeats News, March 25th, according to on-chain sleuth ZachXBT, the Iranian cryptocurrency exchange platform Wallex saw one of its wallet addresses simultaneously frozen by both Circle and Tether. A few hours before the aforementioned address was frozen, Wallex consolidated crypto assets dispersed across multiple hot wallets on the Tron and Ethereum networks to the BNB Chain via several cross-chain bridges. Currently, approximately $2.49 million worth of assets is stuck in the related address and is in a frozen state.
