BlockBeats News, March 21st: President Trump's latest statement indicates that he is willing to engage in dialogue with Iran but is not currently seeking a ceasefire. He expressed confidence that the Strait of Hormuz will "automatically" reopen at some point, despite allies being unwilling to help.
Speaking at the White House on Friday, Trump said, "You have to understand, when you're totally destroying the other side, you don't stop. NATO could have helped us, but so far they haven't had the courage. Others could help, but we're not counting on them." Referring to the Strait of Hormuz, Trump once again said, "We don't need it. Europe needs it, South Korea, Japan, and many other countries need it, so they have to get involved in that issue."
Trump also said that at some point, the Strait of Hormuz will reopen automatically. Regarding domestic polls, Trump said, "CNN released a poll today showing my approval rating at 100%." (Golden Finance)
