Cryptocurrency Exchange Gemini has laid off about 30% of its workforce and introduced AI tools to increase efficiency

BlockBeats News, March 20th, according to Bloomberg, cryptocurrency exchange Gemini (Gemini Space Station Inc.) stated that after this round of layoffs, its staff size has been reduced by about 30% since the beginning of the year, and is introducing artificial intelligence tools to improve production efficiency. Gemini lost over 500 million dollars last year.


As of March 1st, the company, founded by billionaire twins Tyler Winklevoss and Cameron Winklevoss, had about 445 employees. Gemini, headquartered in New York, stated that it did not provide a business outlook for 2026 when releasing its fourth-quarter performance.
