Powell First Publicly Acknowledges Will Stay Until Investigation is "Concluded," if New Chair Not Yet Confirmed as Acting Chair

BlockBeats News, March 19, Federal Reserve Chair Powell: If a new Fed Chair is not confirmed by the end of my term, I will serve as the interim chair. I have no intention of leaving the Board until the Department of Justice investigation is thoroughly, transparently, and finally completed. It has not been determined whether I will stay on after the DOJ investigation concludes.

According to PolyBeats monitoring, Trump's nominated Fed Chair candidate Kevin Wash has a 94% probability of final confirmation. Currently, his nomination is stalled as Republican senators demand to first complete the investigation of Powell.
