Netflix is planning to release the FTX-themed series "The Altruists" around the end of the year.

BlockBeats News, March 18, Netflix plans to release a series about FTX titled "The Altruists" from the end of 2026 to the beginning of 2027.

According to previous disclosures, the series will be produced by Higher Ground, a production company founded by former U.S. President Obama and his wife Michelle Obama. It will tell the story of two young idealists trying to quickly reshape the global financial system, only to get involved in a conspiracy to embezzle about $8 billion. FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried was sentenced to 25 years in prison for fraud, and Caroline Ellison, former CEO of Alameda Research, was sentenced to 2 years.
