BlockBeats News, March 15th, Vitalik posted on the X platform, expressing an open attitude towards the current Ethereum beacon chain and execution client separation architecture, stating that running two daemons and having them communicate with each other is significantly more complex than running a single daemon.
Vitalik pointed out that Ethereum's goal is to allow users to self-custody and have a good user experience with the network, which in many cases means running their own node, but the current node operation method adds unnecessary complexity.
He suggested that in the short term, users could be enabled to install Docker images of different clients and achieve easier communication through a more standardized basic packaging solution. At the same time, as the LeanEthereum consensus solution gradually matures, future considerations should also be given to a reevaluation of the overall architecture design.
