Chinese Shandong Female Police Officer Exposes Dark Secrets of Cryptocurrency Underground Bank: Targets 12 Key Suspects, 100+ Fund Accounts Locked

BlockBeats News, March 15th. According to Jinan Daily, in 2023, during the analysis of a telecommunications fraud case, female economic investigation police officer Li Weiwei of the Dezhou City Public Security Bureau in Shandong Province, China, continuously optimized her analytical methods by meticulously tracking the fund flows and identifying the transaction patterns. Through detailed analysis, Li Weiwei discovered a new type of crime that combined a "traditional underground money exchange + virtual currency" model, which is more concealed and harder to trace.

After several days of continuous hard work, she finally identified 12 main suspects, over 100 financial accounts, and 6 virtual currency wallet addresses. Together with the task force, she outlined a clear organizational structure diagram and fund flow chart, froze the assets involved according to the law, and successfully cracked the first underground money exchange case involving virtual currency in Dezhou.
