Suspected Insider Trading: Trend Research Associate Address Shorting 27,000 ETH

BlockBeats News, March 13th, according to EmberCN monitoring, a wallet suspected to be associated with Trend Research under YeeLink, borrowed ETH through the decentralized lending protocol Aave and transferred it to Binance. It shorted 27,000 ETH about 4 hours ago, worth approximately $57.11 million.

The address withdrew 303 million USDC from Binance on February 11th, just a few days after Trend Research liquidated its ETH in February. A week ago, the address transferred 150 million USDC to Binance, with one of the transactions using a Binance deposit address known to belong to Trend Research.
