According to 1M AI News, Huawei Consumer Business Group CEO He Gang today showcased the XiaoYi Claw Beta version based on the HarmonyOS. XiaoYi Claw integrates the OpenClaw AI capability into the XiaoYi assistant of the HarmonyOS, and when switched to Claw mode, it can handle office tasks such as document editing, creating PPTs, and automatically replying to emails. It supports multi-device collaboration among smartphones, tablets, and PCs, with four initial personalities preset: "Information Hunter" and "Bosom Friend," among others. He Gang said, "I've been using it for a few days and I'm pleasantly surprised. It's quite useful and can help me with a lot of things." Huawei customer service responded to users that this feature is currently in a small-scale internal testing phase, and the official launch date is undecided.
On March 6, Xiaomi took the lead in releasing the first domestic mobile Agent product, Xiaomi miclaw, built on the MiMo large model. Lei Jun referred to it as the "mobile lobster." Huawei's XiaoYi Claw follow-up indicates that the competition among domestic smartphone manufacturers' AI agents is transitioning from the independent application layer to the operating system layer.
