Wuxi High-tech Zone in China Issues 'Crayfish Farming' 12 Measures, with a Maximum Subsidy of 5 Million

The Wuxi High-tech Zone in Jiangsu Province, China, issued the "Several Measures on Supporting the Integration and Development of Open Source Community Projects such as OpenClaw with the OPC Community (Draft for Comments)," including 12 "Lobster Farming" policies. The support ranges from basic support to industrial implementation, talent cultivation, and security compliance, with individual support of up to 5 million RMB.


The draft for comments proposes that local cloud platforms providing free deployment and development toolkits will receive a full subsidy of up to 1 million RMB. OPC projects using the local intelligent computing power platform will be subsidized based on actual expenses, up to 300,000 RMB per year per project.


In addition, projects based on OpenClaw that develop large-scale vertical models for industrial quality inspection, equipment predictive maintenance, and have been filed with the state will receive a reward of 500,000 RMB. Projects achieving key technological breakthroughs in embodied intelligent robots, intelligent quality inspection, etc., will receive up to 5 million RMB in support. The establishment of an "AI + Manufacturing" joint open-source lab is encouraged. Leading the development of open-source frameworks or the formulation of industry standards will be rewarded with up to 1 million RMB.
