NVIDIA GTC to Kick Off Next Week, with 30,000 Attendees from 190 Countries and Over a Thousand Sessions

According to 1M AI News monitoring, NVIDIA GTC 2026 will be held in San Jose from March 16 to 19, attracting over 30,000 developers, researchers, and industry representatives from more than 190 countries, with over 1000 sessions planned. CEO Jensen Huang will deliver a keynote address on March 16 at 11 a.m. Pacific Time at the SAP Center, covering topics such as accelerated computing, AI factories, open models, intelligent agent systems, and embodied AI, and the speech will be live-streamed for free.

This edition of GTC is themed around the "AI Layer Cake," focusing on the five layers of energy, chip, infrastructure, model, and application. Huang will host a roundtable discussion on open cutting-edge models with participants from A16Z, AI2, Black Forest Labs, Cursor, Reflection AI, and Thinking Machines Lab. A pre-keynote warm-up segment will feature Perplexity CEO Aravind Srinivas, Mistral AI CEO Arthur Mensch, LangChain CEO Harrison Chase, among others. Participating companies include OpenAI, Meta, Google DeepMind, Tesla, Microsoft, Hugging Face, and Physical Intelligence. The conference will also offer 9 full-day workshops, over 60 hands-on labs, and a showcase of over 240 NVIDIA Inception startup exhibitors.
