$24 Million in aEthUSDC Stolen, User Claims Theft Involved Physical Violence Threats

BlockBeats News, March 5th, the victim of a rug pull attack involving around $24 million aEthUSDC, user @sillytuna, stated that the theft process actually involved violence, weapons, kidnapping, and rape threats. sillytuna mentioned being beaten, threatened with axing limbs, but ultimately kept all limbs intact. Currently, the police have been involved.

According to PeckShield monitoring this morning, the attack method was actually address poisoning, and sillytuna's related wallet lost about $24 million aEthUSDC. About 20 million DAI is currently held in two attacker-controlled intermediate wallets, not yet mixed. The attackers have started bridging small amounts of funds to Arbitrum. sillytuna has now initiated a reward, announcing that 10% of the recovered funds will be offered as a bounty.
