BlockBeats News, March 5th, the Base ecosystem AI agent platform Virtuals Protocol announced the launch of "Base Batches 003: Robotics," a project led by Virtuals focusing on advancing AI agents in the field of robotics. The Virtuals team stated that they have been working on enabling AI agents to engage in real work, payments, and compound through an open market. The next technological frontier is Embodied Artificial Intelligence. Robot tech is very capable, but currently lacks a structural combination of identity, permissions, and payments that would allow robot systems to scale beyond closed deployments. In the future, builders on the Base chain will be able to create robot agents, fleet operations, robot data pipelines, or robot-to-agent workflows through ACP. The "Base Batches 003: Robotics" project is now open for applications, with successful participants receiving mentorship and up to $50,000 in funding, leading to a San Francisco Demo Day.
