Zerohash Applies to Office of the Comptroller of the Currency for National Trust Bank Charter

BlockBeats News, March 5th, according to The Block, following other digital asset companies seeking a national trust bank charter, crypto infrastructure company Zerohash has submitted an application to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).

According to the documents submitted to the OCC, the national trust bank planned to be established by Zerohash will offer digital asset-related services, including "custody of digital assets, fiat currency, and other assets; custody staking and validation services; transfer agent services; trade execution; stablecoin management; as well as settlement, clearing, and custody services."

Zerohash's Chief Legal Officer Stephen Gardner has been nominated to serve as the CEO of the trust bank.
