Iran Says It Has Full Control of the Strait of Hormuz, More Than a Dozen Tankers Hit by Shelling

BlockBeats News, March 4th, according to Iran's Fars News Agency reported on the 3rd, Mohammad Akbarzadeh, Deputy Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy, said that the Strait of Hormuz is now fully under the control of the Iranian Navy, with more than ten oil tankers hit by shells in the strait.

Akbarzadeh said that the Revolutionary Guard Navy has repeatedly warned that the Strait of Hormuz is in a state of war, and any vessel could be hit by shells or drones. However, more than ten oil tankers have been hit and destroyed despite the warnings. Akbarzadeh emphasized that after Iran announced the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, oil tankers, merchant ships, and fishing vessels can no longer pass through the strait. (Xinhua News Agency)
